performances, Natasha lead a talented up-and-coming team to first place as well.

DeMeo, Ivana Hong, Bridget Sloan, senior members Hilary Mauro and Ashley Priess,
and Amber Trani.FINALS - FULL

MARCH 4, 2007 -
Natasha finished 2nd at the American Cup yesterday! Despite falling on her
Hindorff, she finished just .600 behind teammate Shawn Johnson. Despite falling,
Natasha had a higher all-around total than yesterday, thanks mostly to her
amazing performance on beam. With her 16.250 score, she entered a very
prestigious club... only four other gymnasts have scored a 16 on beam (Sandra
Izbasa, Nastia Liukin, Zhang Nan, Xiao Sha) and only three others on any other
event (Cheng Fei, Alicia Sacramone, Beth Tweddle). What an honor!FINALS -

MARCH 2, 2007 -
After competing well at camp, Natasha was chosen to compete at the Tyson
American Cup in Jacksonville, Florida! The preliminary session was held this
afternoon and since Natasha finished in the top 8 (and the top 2 amongst her USA
teammates), she will advance to the final! This part of the meet will be
televised LIVE on NBC from 1-3pm EST. Natasha
began the day on vault, doing a Yurchenko 1 1/2 for a 14.850 (3rd). She also
showed a new combination on bars from last year, a toe-on 1/2 turn to Jaeger.
She stuck her double front dismount for a 15.650 (3rd). She had a stuck double
layout and a clean double arabian on floor for a 15.150 (4th) and finished the
meet on beam with a clean and difficult set (standing full, standing arabian,
Rulfova, double pike) for a 15.550 (2nd). Her total of 61.200 put her in 2nd
behind teammate Shawn Johnson (Chow's); joining the two of them in finals
tomorrow will be Elsa Garcia (MEX), Elise Hopfner-Hibbs (CAN), Zhou Zhouru (CHN),
Daria Joura (AUS), Daria Zgoba (UKR), and Kristina Pravdina (RUS).PRELIMINARIES
